(More customer reviews)I have tried many different protein drinks and this is by far the best.
First off, it is clear - which is nice as I can't stomach the milky or powdery kinds of drinks.
Second, it has 40 grams of protein - this is relatively high compared to other protein drinks out there.
Third, it has no carbs.
Fourth, it doesn't have too many calories - just enough to give you energy, but not enough to make you worry about taking a high-calorie supplement.
Fifth, it does not need to be refrigerated during storage.
The biggest criticism seems to be the taste. It's not great, but you get used to it. Besides, I have never found another protein drink out there with all four pros (see above) that tastes great. If you find it, let me know. But until them I'm sticking with isopure.

(More customer reviews)When I am training for optimal muscle gain I find this to be an excellent meal replacement! The taste is good and real. Mixing is easy. The caloric makeup can be adjusted to suit your needs. It has no artificials in it. It contains an excellent spectrum of good food based nutrients.
In my opinion this is one of the best gainers on the market when all factors are considered. (Price per serving, quality of ingredients, taste, versatility, and nutrient ratio.)
As a meal replacement, I tend to blend in some almond butter to raise the fat content and slow release...as well as consuming a vegetable with it. Often, I mix it with NOW Pro-Gainer and Pure whey to manipulate the nutrient ratio.
Each scoop provides:

I take alot of different supplements and have no problem chugging down pills. THESE HURT! That's how big they are. For a brief moment I thought to myself as it lodged itself in my throat "OMG, I'm an idiot and am going to choke to death". I reared back and swallowed hard and it went down a little bit. I ate an sandwich and can still feel this thing at the base of my throat.

(More customer reviews)I'm not a snacker. I like three square meals. But because I have insulin resistance (pre-diabetes), I was pretty much told firmly I had to have something every 2-2.5 hours to keep my blood sugar steady. Protein powders were recommended (low carb ones).
This one is the best of the various I've tried. It mixes well with water. The flavors are not hideous (I've tried some that made me gag and retch). In fact, the strawberry and vanilla are quite pleasant. The chocolate is so-so.
One scoop and I've got my protein and am done. 17 grams of protein at a go. That's excellent. Very low carb. Nice. Doesn't make my blood sugar go wacky.
If you've got Metabolic Syndrome or insulin resistance or even diabetes, and you don't dig those bars or want to stop to fix a mini-snack with protein and whatnot between meals, this is a terrific solution. And it's not expensive. Stir in water and you're done!

Not only did my order arrive a week late, they in fact sent me the wrong order! They sent me Ultra Peptide 2.0 instead. It doesn't sound like a huge deal, but there is a vast difference in the ingredient profiles between the two. I called up DAB Nutrition and they claimed they didn't have any Ultra Peptide 1.0 in their warehouse and that they needed to change the picture on the website, because they only had Ultra Peptide 2.0 in stock. This was about a month ago and the picture on the website remains the same lol. My point exactly. Like I said before this is a great product just a bad retailer who sold me it. I will no longer be conducting business with DAB Nutrition. I'll stick to my original retailer who has always been reliable for me with $5 flat free shipping and my order arrives in 2 business days from the time it's shipped out.
