(More customer reviews)I've tried a lot of other whey protein powders, but this brand is the best deal for the money. It tastes great, mixes well (I use either soy milk or water) and satisfies my hunger. It's also one of the lowest carb mixes out there. I've also noticed that if I drink one of these shakes right after working out I don't seem to get sore.
Let me state up front - I'm not a body builder - I'm an over 50, out of shape housewife getting ready for lap band surgery. I'm losing the weight I need to before the surgery and this stuff is helping. I was using Muscle Milk light, but it has way more carbs and I wasn't losing any weight with it - just building muscle.
The Cafe Mocha is great and so is the Butter Cream Toffee.

Scivation Xtend Orange, 30srv, 2 Bottle Review

(More customer reviews)I have tried all the flavors of Xtend as well as many other Scivation products. I have used them extensively in workouts and at other times.
Orange is by far my favorite flavor! I had the 5 pack of all the flavors (berry wasn't out at the time) and orange was the first one gone.
Here is how I would rank the flavors:
1. Orange - best tasting one of them all in my opinion. Also great
2. Grape - first one I ever bought and has a good taste.
3. Lemonade
4. Watermelon - I don't usually like watermelon flavored things but this was surprisingly good.
5. Apple - a lot of people claim this as their favorite but it tastes too sweet to my liking. Has a jolly rancher taste.
I would mix these and freeze them for a few hours to help me get off soda and energy drinks. It worked. Also used them pre- and post workout.
As to results, I didn't see anything earth shattering as far as muscle gain or weight loss however if it helps curb your appetite for sugary drinks, isn't it worth it? It's also a good bridge to consume post workout before your protein shake.
Highly recommend.

(More customer reviews)Over the last 3 years I have sampled every major protein bar offering and I have to say these Power Crunch bars are my favorite. It has a very sugary, chocolate taste that is similar to real chocolate wafer cookies. Power Crunch does not have the thick, hard protein "paste" you'll find in most bars. The chocolate wafer style is soft and almost disintegrates in your mouth - quite a contrast from most protein bar offerings. I've eaten probably a dozen a week for the last six weeks and I still cannot get enough of these bars.
In all fairness most protein bars have 30+ grams of protein - more than double the amount than the 14 grams in Power Crunch. So personally I consider Power Crunch to be a very healthy high protein candy bar rather than protein bar. But after tasting Power Crunch, it'll be a long time before I reach for another Detour, MET-Rx, Oh Yeah, South Beach, or any other bar.

I ran out of my normal creatine one day and was forced to buy this MRM brand at a vitamin supplement shop. This stuff works very well and it's probably one of the cheapest creatines out there. This is the brand that I use regularly now.
I use creatine primarily for strength training, and not exclusively for bulking-up...so I don't know if this will bulk you up better than other creatines. One teaspoon of this right before a workout is sufficient for me. Taking 2 teaspoons a day seems to be wasteful IMO. If you take a teaspoon of this right before a hard workout, you shouldn't have sore muscles the next day.
