I ended up getting prostatitis because I used it longer than was recommended. A coworker had the same problem after taking it for 3 months straight. Again, it works great, just be sure to cycle off of it.

I was running 4 out 7 days a week so I wanted something that would help me bounce back. Endurox definitely worked for me! One of the most noticeable effects was a drastic reduction in soreness the next day. As I understand the science, your sensitivity to insulin is greatest after a hard, glycogen-depleting workout (within 15 minutes of completion). Ingesting a combination of carbs and protein immediately after working out will cause insulin to push the carbs and ammino acids into the muscle to replenish glycogen stores and to power muscle tissue repair. It seems to work for me...I'm always ready to come back the next day for more punishment. I've only tried the Lemon-Lime flavor, so I can only offer my opinion for that particular flavor. The first time I tried it, I used tap temperature water and I thought it was almost too sweet. Using very cold water made it much more palatable. In time I came to really crave the flavor, especially after an 18 mile run. The consistency is definitely full bodied and filling, but not nearly as thick as a protein shake. Please note that this is strictly a recovery drink and should not be taken before or during exercise.

I was looking for something simple and natural that could be used by men and women. My husband and I are doing P90X together and I thought their brand of recovery drink was just too expensive. I was intimidated by the packaging on most of the brands at GNC, so I searched Amazon and found Mike's Mix. I have been very satisfied with the flavor and the fact that you can mix it with water without a blender. I seem to have much more endurance during my workouts. I would recommend this product to my friends who are active.

Not only does it contain 100% whey protein, it also contains other supplements which can further enhance results such as creatine, taurine, glutamine, leucine, isoleucine, valine. This product has been regularly advertised in magazines such as Muscle and Fitness for many years.
Each scoop contains a very high 26 grams of protein, 130 calories, 2 grams fat, and 2 grams sugars. There is about 7 grams of BCAA's per 2 scoops. Each scoop is 33 grams of powder and there are about 28 servings per container or if you double scoop about 14 servings per container.
The taste is great when mixed with milk. The vanilla flavor isn't so exciting when mixed with water but is still ok. Make sure to blend this in a blender for best taste. Or atleast use a shaker bottle to mix this with your drink, it wont be as good as blended but still ok. I wouldn't recommend mixing this with a spoon because it tends to get very clumpy and wont disolve thoroughly and doesn't taste very good. I've also tried the chocolate flavor and will say that the vanilla tastes better.
Results are good while using this product. I have gained many pounds of muscle in a few months. So far all my muscle groups have seen gains while using this product. Don't expect this product to be a miracle powder if you don't do the hard work necessary to gain muscle. For best results use before and after your workouts.

(More customer reviews)This and MetRX's protein powders are my favorites, though when Amazon has this brand in stock it's less expensive per serving than MetRX. The MetRX foams up a bit more and seems a little thicker (not negatives, in my opinion); the TwinLab comes out very smooth when made in a blender. Both brands taste very good, at least when made with fat free or 1% milk (or at the very least half milk and half water).
I won't detail the nutritional info because it's available in the product description here, but like MetRX I like that this protein powder gets almost all of its calories from protein. Some protein powders have a fair amount of fat and some have A LOT of carbohydrates. Those formulas may be good for competition level bodybuilders who need to have an extremely high caloric intake because they are working out so hard, but I don't really want a protein shake that gives me a meal's worth of carbs and fat in addition to the protein. I'd rather get my carbs and fat from real food.

The directions on the label arent as clear as some of the other twin lab products as to when and how many many you should take. It says take six (6)with a workout....so i usually split them with (3) before and (3) after my workout.
Overall these are nice...but being monohydrate creatine...be warned that there is the occasional BLOAT ! ! !
Strength wise...you'll see and improvment lets say 15-20% tops depending on how your body reacts to it.
Give it a shot ! its a lot safer from a well known brand than most other newcomers out there

(More customer reviews)Let me start off by saying that I since I started lifting three years ago, I have gone through countless bottles of NO-Xplode, Superpump 250, Nano Vapor, and Energized Xpand. While all of these have worked for me (Energized Xpand is definitely the best out of the four), I will absolutely never go back after trying Jack3d.
First of all, the taste is absolutely phenomenal compared to any of the above-mentioned supplements (tastes like Lemon-Lime Kool Aid). Since it is so concentrated, I only need about 8 ounces of water for two scoops, which is great in itself. I remember having to fish around for the largest cup I could find when I was using NO-Xplode, because there was so much powder to water down. It takes me less than a minute to finish my cup of Jack3d.I have never felt anything like the effects I have gotten from the five or six times (so far) that I have used Jack3d, and have so far built up no tolerance - it's been two scoops every time. Almost immediately upon drinking it, I get a tingly feeling starting in my face which then progresses to my entire upper body. I'll admit that it's not the most comfortable feeling ever (kind of like when your foot falls asleep), but it's nice because you really feel like the product is working. This effect only lasts about twenty minutes.
20-30 minutes after consuming Jack3d, I start to feel the energy. It's not a sudden rush (and sudden urge to crap) like other pre-workout supplements. It's almost euphoric; I've never gotten this effect from anything else. The energy does not wear off (or even wear down) for hours. This is the first supplement I have ever taken where I do not start crashing toward the end of my workout or on my way home. I literally (I know this sounds cliche) have to force myself to leave the gym, usually after well over an hour. The pump I get from this product is probably the best part about it - absolutely unreal and unsurpassed.
I have been changing my diet recently, which probably has some to do with it, but since starting using Jack3d a week and a half ago, I have gained around 3 lbs. I am an extremely hard gainer, and am confident this product (along with a high protein and carbohydrate diet) will help me finally reach my goal of 200 lbs, with 6 lbs to go.
